Hello Mannheim Glückstein Quarters!
Our satellite in Mannheim's Glückstein Quarter is now officially open!
On September 28, 2023, we celebrated the opening of our latest satellite in Mannheim’s Glückstein Quarter with our guests over delicious food, fabulous after-work cocktails and music in a relaxed atmosphere.
After the champagne reception, founder Markus Hummelsberger welcomed the guests to the new location. As one of the fastest growing medium-sized cities in Germany, Mannheim and the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region (MRN) with its economic mix of industry, start-ups, established multinational companies and hidden champions have been highly attractive for 1000 satellites from the very beginning. But unlike the previous decentralized locations, the new Glückstein satellite is centrally located, just a few minutes’ walk from Mannheim’s main train station, and offers commuters an even shorter route to their workplace.

Especially in the post-Covid era, many companies are looking for new, attractive and lean office concepts. This is exactly what 1000 Satellites offers, enabling companies to make better and more efficient use of their own space.
Lord Mayor Christian Specht was also present on this special evening and praised the concept of 1000 Satellites in the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region. The symbolic ribbon was then ceremoniously cut by him and Markus Hummelsberger.
Throughout the evening, our guests had the opportunity to take a guided tour of our premises and find out more about our corporate concept. Three keynote speeches by our founders on New Work, New Office and Sustainability also gave participants the opportunity to delve deeper into the topics and ask questions.
We would like to thank all our customers and prospects who continue to help us grow and make 1000 Satellites what it is. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Dr. Elmar Bourdon and Mr. Vierling from the City of Mannheim’s Economic Development Department.
We are delighted that our newest location has been so well received and are excited to see what the future holds for us in Mannheim’s Glückstein Quarter, as well as in the entire Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region.
